I was born in New Zealand and plan to go back when I'm older, and I want to keep my NZ accent. Problem is, I left NZ when I was 5... Would it be possible for me to get the accent back/keep it by listening to kiwis(new zealanders) while sleeping, that I get my accent?

Not just by sleeping. But keep in touch with your Kiwi mates, don't change your accent, watch NZ movies, listen to NZ music etc. And come back here asap.

One of the toughest matters an writer has to be trained to do is to make a image within the brain of his viewers. It is rough to hinder the pitfall of telling the tale an excessive amount of as an alternative of displaying them the tale. For illustration: my dad is a awful baseball participant versus "Oh God!" "Yeah he struck out as soon as once more!" "Why did they are saying dad would be at the group once more this 12 months?" "Come on, he loves to play! It's only a recreation in the end!" You have a excellent aptitude for writing, exhibit extra and inform much less!

no accents are obtained by listening to people talk when your awake, listen to kiwis as much as you can when your awake but its usually more easy to do when your actually there

Doubt it.

But it could be worth a try. (You have nothing to lose but your accent.)
